The “Cañón del Río Lobos” is a unique bio-geographical area into the shaft of a deep canyon formed by limestone cliffs. It is the spring of the river Ucero, very well known for its wild trouts. You will find beautiful vertical cuts that fall over the river. Inside the limestone masses, a labyrinth of caves at different levels has been created, some of them connected by deep craters. Let’s not forget its cultural significance, with traces of many different historical periods.

Among its more than 200 animal species, we can highlight the griffon vulture, the golden eagle, the Egyptian vulture and the red rock. Also Corzos, otters, squirrels, wild boars and wild cats can be founded all around. There is also a huge variety of amphibians and reptiles, some endemic.
