This Island is located in the heart of the Ria de Arousa and it can be reached through a 2km bridge. Its population is concentrated in a narrow isthmus that connects a small peninsula with the rest of the island. With 36 kilometers of coastline, 11 of them are white sandy beaches.

In a peaceful stroll along the island, you´ll be luckily surprised by the presence of wild animals. Meanwhile, take pleasure in the pink, purple and lilac of the heather, the yellow of the gorses and brooms, or the golden seas of grasses. The winds, waves and tides have carved in the rocks endless whimsical shapes, building a magical fantasy world to which islanders have put such curious names as Con dos Tres Pés, Con do Fuciño do Porco, Con do Cocodrilo…
