The natural course of the Ebro GR-99 trail as it passes through the province of Burgos, runs a total of 8 phases. This trail is one of the most popular in Burgos for its spectacular scenery and picturesque towns on its route. The Ebro River has carved its way through a spectacular canyon that gets to reach a depth of over 200 meters. Its landscape and an incredible botanical diversity of fauna makes it one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Iberian Peninsula. The route of the Grand Canyon del Ebro starts in the village of Valdelateja. A total of 15 kilometers and six hours walking, by well-marked trails, to discover a unique scenery that is enriched by the heritage that appear along the way. The route can also be completed with a mountain bike.
